"For me, 2005 was an EXCITING and PRODUCTIVE YEAR, but it came to a CRASHING HALT on the night of DECEMBER 7."
"The March 1st birth of our fourth grandchild, David, was a joyous event!"	"2005  included  numerous  speaking  engagements,  revivals  and  mission presentations in churches such as Park Street Baptist Church, Greenville, Texas."
"Our perpetual 'Asian Mission Fund' is administered by the Christian Community Foundation of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  A mid-year trip was made to consult with the administrators and to solidify the fund's status."	"After almost 200,000 miles, our LREA ministry van, 'Barney', was 'retired' -- and replaced by a pre-owned 2004 Ford Explorer which we promptly named 'Little Barney'."
"My final speaking engagement was a mission presentation at First Baptist Church of Manvel, Texas, south of Houston on the evening of December 7th."       "After the Manvel engagement, while en route back to East Texas via Houston, our LREA vehicle, 'Little Barney' was rear-ended and 'totaled' by a hit-and-run driver.  Fortunately, my life was spared, although my back was broken and I sustained internal injuries.  Since that time, my ministry schedule has been 'on hold' until my injuries are sufficiently healed to resume my travels."
