"Since 1986 our evangelistic association has

supported a courageous and devout indigenous

missionary and his family engaged in

ministry in an Asian country where Christians are

persecuted and often imprisoned."

"The country where we engage in ministry is

one of the poorest in Southeast Asia. This is a

street scene in the city where our work is centered."

"Our work in this idolatrous land has grown from one to 20 churches, fellowships, believer groups and/or preaching points since we began in 1986. When we travel there we take care not to jeopardize the safety of native Christians who face severe persecution if they are caught violating the laws of the land. Our indigenous associate serves as our interpreter."

"The indigenous evangelist's wife has developed a strong work among

the women of the region. Many women traditionally are

devalued in this pagan land. Women's work consists of

Bible studies among believers, with a strong

evangelistic and prayer witness."

"Campus Crusade for Christ's 'Jesus Film' has been instrumental in reaching people with the Gospel in many nations. One vital part of our work is in providing copies of this remarkable video in several languages and dialects that are used in this Asian country."

"Our mission work is supported by the freewill gifts

of friends of our ministry. One of our young friends is

Mary Hackler, a young lady from Quitman, Arkansas,

who saved her mission money in a 'Bunny Bank',

and placed the gift in an offering plate when I

made our mission presentation in Quitman."
